I saw the comment! I thought the Kelce brothers were so cute and I don’t have an issue with them sharing a younger pic of themselves but this comment was gross. I’ve seen so many of the glow up posts, Ashley and Jared of Bachelor Nation talk about Jared being a chubby child a lot. It’s weird to expect kids to be attractive. Thank you for illuminating that point.
And I hate how moms get blamed for body size the most. In our family my oldest is following my growth curve and youngest is more like his dad and it’s hard not to fixate on how I passed on the precocious puberty genes. I’m thankful he has a friend group with a few kids in the same phase.
It's bad enough when we're critiquing the faces and bodies of adults in the public eye!
For our own kids, I do find these are the opportunities to reparent ourselves while giving our kids the unconditional love and acceptance we didn't always receive.
